Our Papercraft model offers a fascinating journey into the world of paper sculpture. With two pairs of legs available, you can choose between a standing or walking flamingo posture, adding a touch of striking realism to your creation. To assemble this work of art, you’ll need just 20 sheets of 200-300 gsm A4 paper.
Create an exotic centerpiece
With our detailed template, bring a life-size flamingo to life, with an impressive height of 1000mm (39.37 inches), a depth of 616mm (24.2 inches) and a width of 207mm ( 8.14 inches). To add a personal touch to your paper sculpture, we encourage you to experiment with your favorite colors.
Follow our detailed instructions for optimum results
- Start by assembling the spout (part 1) and progress by gluing the elements according to the larger numbers until you reach detail 6.< /em>
- Glue the flamingo’s eyes (details 7-8) and attach them to the head.
- Continue by gluing the details to the larger numbers until you reach detail 21.
- Assemble the body parts in order until you reach detail 35.
- To add extra strength, print additional sheets (8, 9, 10, 11 and 13), cut out the details and glue them inside with an extra layer.
- Continue gluing the body parts in order until the model is ready. Finally, glue part 39.
- Glue the flamingo’s legs together, starting with the foot. Reinforce the legs with an extra layer of cardboard and add something heavy to the feet for stability.
- Glue the legs to the flamingo from the outside.
