Discover the play of colors in 3D origami
Color harmony is at the heart of these designs. For Mickey Mouse, leaves 1 to 4 are cream, leaves 5 to 12 are black, leaves 13 to 15 are white, leaves 16 to 20 are red and leaves 21 to 27 are yellow. For Minnie Mouse, leaves 1 to 4 are cream, leaf 5 is red, leaves 6 to 12 are black, leaves 13 to 15 are white and leaves 16 to 25 are pink. However, feel free to use your favorite colors and experiment to personalize your paper sculpture.
Materials required for your paper artwork
To make these magnificent sculptures, you’ll need:
- A printer
- A4 sheets (250gsm-300gsm card stock) at 100% scale
- Craft glue or 3M glue
- Handmade cutter or scissors
- A rule
Easy to build
These models are of medium difficulty. Allow 6 hours or more to complete each sculpture. Perfect for a rainy afternoon or family activity.
